The 2022 Dr. Kindree Golf Tournament made $60,000- Funds raised at the 2022 tournament will be used to update dental/facial surgery equipment for Squamish General Hospital Operating Room, and for a video glide scope to be used in Squamish General Hospital Operating Room and Emergency Room.

Each year in September the Squamish Hospital Foundation hosts its annual Dr. Kindree Memorial Golf Tournament at the Squamish Valley Golf Course. Funds are raised for a specific project or equipment purchase to enhance one of the healthcare locations the foundation supports. Past projects have been; Ultrasound Machine for the Imaging department at Squamish General Hospital, contribution to a mobility bus for residents of Hill Top House, and contribution to the capital campaign project for the Sea to Sky Community Hospice.
Teams enter the tournament through sponsorship and are made up from community members and business. Business can sponsor the tournament through signage on the course, or at the reception and dinner. After a fun filled golf day teams enjoy a reception and buffet dinner where exciting auction items can be bid on through a silent and live auction. An anticipated part of the day is the Helicopter Ball Drop where Blackcomb Helicopter drops 1,500 numbered golf balls hovering above hole # 9 for a raffle, with prizing valued up to $10,000.00!
The Dr. Kindree Golf Tournament offers an outstanding opportunity to develop an association with a cause that is important to the community and makes a lasting contribution to health within the Sea to Sky Corridor.
