monthly series of 50/50 draws will take place as follows: November 1, 2021 at 9 AM PST to December 9 2021 at 11.59 PM PST. Draw date December 10, 2021 at 10 AM PST
Tickets are 5 for $10; 40 for $20 ; 150 for $40 .
Must be 19 years or older to purchase a 50/50 ticket.
Must be in BC at the time of purchase.
After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

Tickets will be sold using computer software that utilizes an Electronic Raffle System (ERS) GPEB certified software random number generator (RNG), supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions. Under no circumstances would there be a tie or prize split as noted ,the Ascend raffle platform will draw a single number per prize with only 1 winner possible.
The winning number will be announced – posted online at (SQHF5050.ca) as well as social media pages and web site.
The winner may claim their prize by contacting the Squamish Hospital Foundation at: 604 906 0146 or by email at: squamishhospitalfoundation@gmail.com The ticket may then be brought to Squamish General Hospital 38140 Behrner Dr, Squamish, BC V8B 0J3 at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque. The prize claimant will be required to sign a Declaration and Release ("Release") which must be executed and returned to VSO no later than five (5) business days after his/her receipt of the Release. In the event a claimant: (a) does not notify VSO within thirty (30) days of the drawing; (b) is ruled ineligible for any reason; (c) refuses the prize; or (d) does not return an executed Release, the prize will be forfeited and will be retained by VSO for charitable use. VSO has no obligation to contact potential winners. All prizes will be sent to the winners via cheque within thirty (30) days of the winner delivering the winning Raffle Ticket, executed Release, and all other required documents to VSO. For security and safety reasons, no cash payments will be made to the winners.
The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: (Alison Hopkins, Karen Vanzella, Karyn Smith, Corinne Lonsdale, Bob Rogan, David Hildreth, Cathie Greenless, Jill Dunnigan ,Ellen Grant ,Dave Sweeney, Sophie Moore- as well as the above household members.If a situation causes a delay or prevents a draw from taking place all ticket buyers will be notified by email and details of the substitution draw will be posted to the website.
