Post from Jamie Morum on Facebook March 25, 2020:

Help me Fight Covid and support our Squamish Health Care Community!

Thank you to all of you for doing your part by staying home and social distancing!

I know many of you feel similarly to myself and you want to do more! Some of you may be front line workers deemed as essential at this time or have family members and friends battling this Pandemic. My hope is that we can come together as a community and help raise funds to help provide the tools our hospital staff needs to stay safe and fight this pandemic.

The funds raised here will go directly towards safety equipment for our front line health care staff to keep themselves and their patients safe. As well as other supplies they may deem as necessary to provide the best care possible to our community.

My “Dream BIG” hope is that we may be able to raise enough money to buy another ventilator for our hospital. This itself would cost us north of 50 Thousand Dollars conservatively. Right now Squamish hospital has only 4 ventilators and 1 transport ventilator. In the event that other hospitals will be operating at full capacity, members of our community may need to stay here for an extended period of time.

I hope that you will rally to support this very worthy and relevant cause ❤️

Please follow the link below to donate (and remember to write “Fight Covid” in the message box) .

If you are able, I ask that you rally your friends, family, neighbours, coworkers and business contacts to make donations! (Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $20) Together we can make a huge impact!
